This weekend saw a group of our members make the voyage west to play in the annual Ashbourne V Ashbourne Match, at Ashbourne GC, County Meath. Following this year's result, Stephen Bryan yet again remains the only Captain to bring the cup home from Irish soil!
Back home we held the Irish Weekend 4BBB Stableford, again low scoring was aplenty with eventual winners George Williams and partner Richard Archer scoring 47 points to win on a countback. This score was helped by a hole in one from George on 16, holing out with a 3 wood. As a result George is the first winner of the Hole in One Prize, which stood at £64.90, in addition to the £12.80 for a 2.

This week Sandra Maxwell continued her good form by winning the Coronation Medal in the Silver Division at the Derbyshire Ladies Spring Meeting with a Nett 73 at Erewash Valley.
